Alpaca Boxy Top
Crochet Boxy Top made from 100% alpaca 4-ply yarn dyed in the exhaust vat of a loquat dye batch. The loquat leaves were picked fresh in Oakland. I then cut the leave into strips and boiled them for 4 days. All four skeins of this exhaust batch were then crocheted in a Medium (modeled) and a second small top where the front and back squares are sewn together at the shoulder and sides. It is intended to be a decorative, loose-fitting outer layer.
