Sally Fox/ROCKSTAR Blend

This blend is another huge hit! We used white Grade 3, long herd fiber from Rockstar Alpacas and combined it with two fleeces from Sally Fox’s organic merino herd. The yarn is a creamy color as the merino is not white, but both fleeces were too gorgeous to pass by.

The blend is 53% merino and 47% alpaca. Each skein is 250 yards, and slightly over 100g. The yarn is 3-ply and a DK weight. What I like most about this run, is that the texture of the ply accentuates the bright quality of the fleece. It is quite stunning! I hope to offer this yarn in locally produced natural dyes in the near future— This product represents Fibershed producers working together!
